Cooking in Italy

Enjoy visits to a twelfth-century Cistercian abbey where premium rice has been grown for centuries and take part in a cooking class and luncheon with a Contessa. Explore the charming cosmopolitan Torino and the quaint town of Alba.

Our three neighboring farms provide us with organic fruit, wine, and pecorino cheese. The views are breath-taking from every angle. In the distance we can see the charming hilltown of Cortona, and nearby we see the ancient towers of the historic town of Chianciano Terme.

We will discover the birthplace of pizza and learn about the noble cuisine of Naples in the 1700s. Our hands-on cooking classes will encompass some of the classics of the region: panzarotti, sartu di riso, pasticcio, arancini, zuppa di pesce, pesce in sale, baba, pastiera, and torta caprese, to name a few.

The course is a 1 day practical cooking class of Italian/Sardinian Cuisine, held by Signora Silvana and her husband in a typical holidays’ farm in Santadi, in the southwest of the Island,

We organise cooking classes, introducing the visitor to the simple country cuisine, at some of the local hill top restaurants. With visits to local cheese producers, olive oil mills, bakeries, organic gelato tasting.

Held at Il Falconiere in Tuscany, this is a course that lasts for six nights and includes a combination of cookery classes, wine appreciation, local culture and excursions.

Painting, cooking, studying the history of art or Italian. Fabulous cities like Florence and Siena and the awe inspiring countryside of Chianti. Admiring the art or architecture or just relaxing, you can be sure that your welcome will be as warm as the Tuscan sun !

Our fun and informative immersion style cooking holidays will highlight regional dishes, locally produced cheeses, olive oils and wines and include excursions to the surrounding areas to enhance your learning experience.
