Join Susan Herrmann Loomis, internationally-recognized food expert and author, for a memorable culinary week at her cooking school in Normandy, France. On Rue Tatin offers a unique program of hands-on cooking classes and immersion into the French way of life.

Our aim at Ouichef is to introduce you to the world of the ‘famous French cuisine’. Your experience whilst at Ouichef will involve a hands-on, fun and friendly cooking holiday which will focus on the classic recipes and cooking techniques of France.

For seven days and six nights, Charles-Henry and Segolene de Valbray will be our guides as we visit farms and tiny villages, stopping to taste perfectly ripened camembert and fresh cider made the traditional way.Cooking classes are limited to eight participants.

The farmhouse features six bedrooms and three modernized bathrooms, however its rustic flavor remains complete with hardwood floors, antique furnishings, and floral down comforters. Classroom instruction is held in a large kitchen, accommodating groups of up to 10 students

Founded in 1993, Le Manoir de L’Aufragère is a lovingly restored 18th century manor house set in eight acres of a beautiful, tranquil cider orchard in the heart of Normandy, France. Offering cookery courses and gourmet dinner, bed & breakfast mini-breaks. .
