Itinerary
The daily cooking program varies depending on the season and catch of the day. Each day we will have an introduction lecture and will proceed with our menu of the day . If you are up early enough you can go to the local fish market with Mr. Nan to choose the local fish of the day!
The menu of the day will vary and consists of:
- 3 to 5 courses (mix of fresh vegetables of the season, pastas and fresh fish).
- Fish “degustazione” (tasting) menu
- Typical traditional Ligurian menu
- Fresh home made pastas
- Fabulous desserts accompanying every menu
- Dinner after all cooking classes
- 1bottle of Ligurian wine every 2 persons
You will be accompanied by an English speaking translator during classes . Including conversational Italian as well!!
- 2 to 6 nights hotel accommodation in charming boutique B&B with breakfast double occupancy
-welcome cocktail “aperitivo” with typical Ligurian snacks
- welcome gala dinner with Ligurian specialties
- 2 to 4 hands on cooking classes following with our meal.
-one bottle of Ligurian wine every 2 persons at all of our meals.
- train pickup from Savona , Spotorno or Finale Ligure free of charge upon request
Suggested self guided excursions:
- half day trip to Genova by train or car
-half day trip to Varigotti, Finale Ligure, Finalborgo with gelato and Borgio Verezzi…
- trip to local winery including wine tasting
- full day trip to Piemonte the “strada di Barolo” “Le Langhe” the birth place of “SLOW FOOD” with lunch and wine tasting
**** During certain times of the year, we can enjoy outdoor opera’s, classical music concerts, food, wine and cultural related events and demonstrations ... as we do get the local programs we will make an effort to have you participate at least one event during your stay.
-Program in September including International Cheese Fair in Bra
**For those not wanting to cook we suggest excursions such as sailing, hiking, mountain bike, horse back riding. Or we can suggest excursions to France MonteCarlo Nice and Eze , Portofino, 5 terre!!
