Private cooking holiday in Thailand taking in Bangkok, the Central Plains, Isan and the Andaman Sea. You’ll kick off with a professional lesson, then travel around the country learning to cook authentic Thai food from real people. Time to relax too!
Day 1: Fly from London (Heathrow) to Bangkok with by Eva Air (direct flight, regional add-ons available).
Day 2: Pick up at Bangkok airport and transfer to charming homestay.
Day 3: Free morning, afternoon lesson at Thai cookery course. Evening explore Bangkok (with driver)
Day 4: Sightseeing day with private guide. Evening cookery lesson at homestay.
Day 5: Morning visit to agricultural market. Transfer to Central Plains. Afternoon boat ride. Evening cookery lesson.
Day 6: Morning visit to local food market. Afternoon cookery lessons. Late afternoon cycling lesson. Evening dinner with village headman’s family.
Day 7: Transfer to Isan in the north east (by car and Thai Airways flight). Afternoon some free time then walk around the village. Evening welcome dinner into the Laotian-inspired Isan food.
Day 8: Morning visit to local food market and organic farm. Evening on own in nearest town to have dinner by the river and visit night market (with driver).
Day 9: Day Sightseeing in Isan. Evening cookery lesson.
Day 10: Morning forest foraging. Afternoon free time, evening cooking lesson.
Day 11: Transfer to Krabi on the Andaman Coast (by car and connecting Thai Airways flights). Transfer to nearby fishermen’s island.
Day 12: Morning visit to local market, afternoon southern-style cooking lessons.
Day 13: Dawn fishing with fishermen. Afternon seafood cookery lessons and free time.
Day 14: Morning transfer to boutique beach resort on the mainland, afternoon free time.
Day 15: Free day.
Day 16: Fly from Krabi to Bangkok and then back to the UK.

This holiday of 16 days fits into a fortnight, leaving on a Saturday and returning at approximately 7pm on the Sunday evening. The itinerary has been designed to offer the perfectly-balanced holiday, however, it can be made shorter if necessary.
