Itinerary
Among all Spanish dishes Paella has, with no doubt, the widest international recognition. But, beyond a single dish, Paella represents a traditional technique for cooking endless recipes combining rice with the most varied ingredients. In fact, Paella is not the name of the recipe itself but that of the characteristic wide, flat pan used for cooking it.

Paella´s native land is the eastern coast of Spain called Levante, which means “land of the rising sun”, a region of fertile gardens producing fresh fruits and vegetables, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, source of the freshest fish and shellfish. All these natural ingredients combined with locally grown short grain rice are the basis of the popular recipes of the area.

Directed by an experienced cooking instructor, learn the secrets of preparing the perfect Paella and other local recipes. Lunch or dinner at the School´s restaurant will follow: enjoy what you have cooked, accompanied by local wine.
